Hey Mike's back! In this non-TMP recording, we finally get his take on the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt mechanics since he missed the two preview episodes. From there we head into some of the announcements made in the Nintendo Direct that had just finished a few hours before recording.

First up, the Castlevania Advance Collection, which makes Chewie very happy. That leads us to talk about our experiences with the games and the various other Castlevanias, and Chewie's recent forays into patching old video games. This also serves as a reminder to go listen to the School of Movies episode about the Castlevania games that Chewie was on! 

Then we hit the big news, that the other dorks actually didn't know about yet. The existence and the cast of the Mario movie was revealed! After going over that, we ended up looking into Illumination's film history and then looking at the history of other CG animation studios. And we touch on Star Wars: Visions for a bit, which leads us to talk about The Animatrix too. 

After that, we talk about the Zelda cartoon for a bit, and rip into the second Fantastic Beasts movie for a bit, and a few other bits and bobs. And hey if you enjoyed this, I should tell you that this is what the Odds & Ends are always like and why you should become a Lifeguard!
